LeishVet, a non profit scientific association

The Association

LeishVet is a scientific association founded in 2005 during Worldleish 3 forum held in Palermo (Italy) by veterinarians from academic institutions of different countries focusing their research and clinical activity on leishmaniosis in veterinary medicine.

Since 2008 LeishVet is officially registered in Spain at the National Register of Associations for non profit effects.

Our Aim

LeishVet activities are devoted to:

Offer to practitioners, researchers, students and human health authorities a consensus statement on the clinical management of veterinarian leishmaniosis up to date with the current evidence based knowledge on the disease

Standardize criteria for the diagnosis of veterinarian leishmaniosis

Develop initiative actions and research on leishmaniosis
